Right before going on a much-needed hiatus from everything in life, I would like to share with you a few of the photos of my recent Catwoman cosplay!
A bit of a background before we get into the costume. I have always, always, wanted to cosplay Selina Kyle a.k.a. Catwoman. She’s one of those strong female character tropes that I’ve looked up to, despite the obvious sexuality her role plays. :))
Catwoman has been in my cosplay peripheral for the longest time. I’ve been hesitant because I didn’t really know what version I wanted to cosplay and well, it was constantly the question of who would be making my costume.
I found the right person in Kino and his wife, Monette. They did an astounding job on the suit and the cowl. It was everything I had wanted. The cloth was imported from a supplier abroad and it took us weeks to get this kind of fit. Although I wish I had better assets to fill out the suit more, HAHA. But that’s really something only I can change by working out. LOL.
The references I chose were the ones below. I wanted to do a combination of her Gotham City Sirens version and the Adam Hughes “Catwoman” covers (the one that reminded everyone of Audrey Hepburn) , with the red goggles and whip but I also found a reference online of a really nice collectible figure!
Anyway, these photos were taken by the amazing Erving Go (I swear, he’s the only photographer for me <3) during Asia Pop Comicon Philippines last August 2016. Enjoy!

I’m posting these now because I probably won’t be able to update this blog for a week or so. I’ll be out of the country! Follow my social networks below and see what I’m up to! See you in a few weeks, guys!
