I’m a sucker for beauty boxes. LOL. And I know Althea Korea has been in the Philippines since last year but it’s only this year that I decided to get my own box filled with amazing goodies! So, without further ado, here’s the unboxing of my Althea Korea Haul!
First of all I must commend Althea Korea‘s system. I ordered my box around November 23 and received it December 1 or 2. I forget which date exactly, LOL. They process your order and ship your items out fast. It didn’t even take the 10-15 working days that they state is their usual delivery time.
Plus the items come in a really, really sturdy (and pretty) box! I’m not a huge fan of pink but I’d probably make a big deal out of receiving a box like this. LOL.
I know my haul isn’t as impressive as what others might have bought (cue broke-ness and overspending for video games, LOL) but I’m pretty glad I got to try this service out. So, let’s check out what I bought, haha!
I think I’m an Innisfree convert, LOL. Having tried out the Innisfree Long Wear Cushion recently, I figured some of their other products might be just as good. This product claims to be a replacement for your oil blotting powder. It has Jeju natural minerals and natural mint that helps in cleansing pores and skin exfoliation.
You’re supposed to apply this after the last stages of your skincare/make-up, on your entire face using the powder puff or on sebum concentrated areas only. This currently has very high reviews on the site, so I didn’t hesitate to get myself one!
And guys, so far I am liking it! It leaves my skin less oily and more matte far longer than just using normal pressed powder! And at Php 260? It’s a total steal, I promise! A little of the powder goes a long way, too! Will definitely re-purchase this! 🙂
I have always complained about my dark under eye and puffy eye bags. So. I finally decided to do something about it (albeit a little too late, I think, LOL). The Petitfee Gold & EGF Eye Spot Patch claims to refresh and invigorate the skin around the eyes and to firm skin up as well!
To be honest, I haven’t used the patches in consecutive days, so I don’t know if it’s effective or not. It costs around Php 460 and has around 90 patches (60 eye patches and 30 round patches). But I will tell you this, I used one round patch over a pimple and it calmed the F down. After 30 minutes, it was less red and less intimidating, LOL. But still, I was hoping it’d help lessen the puffiness of my eyebags, but you know, here’s to always hoping, HAHA!
AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST…
Okay, this skin primer probably ties with my love for the Innisfree mineral powder. HAHA. I have this idea that my skin is heavily acidic, so whenever I use foundation or BB cream, it always turns out orange-y or two shades darker on my skin after, what, a couple of hours being exposed to air. UGH. It’s annoying.
So I decided to get a skin primer. And! This baby had pretty awesome reviews for its price of Php 280. I am a cheapskate. I thought we already got that out of the way. HAHA.
Though seriously, look at this thing. It totally appeals to me. HAHA. The design is video game-related so how can I say no? Anyway, the primer claims to cover pores, help moisturize skin, and of course, keeps your make-up on for longer! And yes, it does those things exactly! Now I don’t want to use my foundations or BB creams without it!
It DOES help keep my products from oxidizing and keeps my make-up on for longer than normal. This, with the Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder, is a powerful combo! And I don’t think I’d let them go from my daily make-up routine from now on.
Anyway, that’s my short and simple unboxing! I hope that you guys liked it! How was your experience with Althea Korea? Haha, I love online shopping so I’ll probably order from them again, LOL!
