Do you guys know how painful it is for me to type up this post?! Because I just bought my Zephyrus G14 last December 2020 and now, NOW, ASUS ROG has decided to update the G14 for 2021.
Call it bad luck or a case of wrong timing because I am LITERALLY crying as a write this, LOL. But let’s check out what’s new in the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2021. HAHAHUHU.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2021 – Specs, Pricing, & Availability
Here are the official specifications for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2021:
- CPU: Ryzen™ 9 5900HS
- GPU: RTX™30606GB GDDR6
- Memory: 16GBx2 3200Mhz RAM
- Storage: 1TB PCIE G3 SSD
- Display: 14″1440p120Hz
- Color: Moonlight White with AniMeMatrix™LED / Eclipse Gray with AniMeMatrix™LED
The first variants of the Zephyrus G14 2021 are already available, and have been since March 15, 2021. They come at the price of Php 119,995, and will be bundled with a laptop sleeve, ROG Impact Mouse, Webcam, and more.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2021 – Features
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 basically has the same features as the previous model, with main upgrades to the system centering around the CPU and GPU. This time, the unit will be decked out with a Ryzen™ 9 5900HS, compared to the previous model of Ryzen™ 9 4900HS at its highest spec. The GPU is also upgraded to the RTX™3060 6GB GDDR6, versus the previous GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6 with Max-Q Design at its highest spec available.
Most of the other features such as its compact yet powerful design, and eye-catching AniMe Matrix™ display have also made a comeback in this upgrade. However, a new Holographic Prismatic Effect has been added to the chassis, giving it a subtle, edgier look and feel.
I really did die a little bit when I got this release from the ROG fam, but you know, that’s what really happens in the world of tech. What may be your top-of-the-line purchase now can easily be outshined by a brand-new product just a few months later. HAHAHAHAH…huhuhu. I gotta stop crying.
