CLAMP Celebrates Card Captor Sakura 20th Anniversary with New Manga

I’ve got “Catch You Catch Me” running through my head right now. Such nostalgia!

2016 marks the 20th year since the first publishing of CLAMP‘s immortally popular shoujo manga, Card Captor Sakura. In celebration, CLAMP has announced a joyous celebration with a new manga project and many more!

Card Captor Sakura originally ran in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi in 1996. And now, their team has announced a new manga project, which, rumors say, isn’t a full-length series, and that’s totally fine with me. There’s no news on what the manga will be about or when it will be released, so everyone’s collectively still in the dark, LOL.

There are, however, a lot of other things going on that will surely tickle the fancy of every Card Captor Sakura fan. An artbook compilation will be shipped out March 24 of this year and Animate will be holding themed cafes in six stores starting April 1.

They’ve also re-printed the manga last year and re-arranged it in nine volumes, yay!

So exciting! How I wish to be in Tokyo right now!
