A new game from PlayPark has launched into open beta testing recently! If you’re a fan of the long-time-ago racing battle royale game Twisted Metal, you’re in for a unique spin with Crossout PH!
We were given a sneak peek and preview at the launch a few weeks back at Game Over PH. I was able to play the game for a bit and it’s something that I’m sure my war freak, trash-talking friends would love to get their hands on, LOL.
Crossout PH Features
Customize & Craft Unique Vehicles
I think one of the coolest features in Crossout PH is that you have the option to customize and create your own unique vehicle! Everything is done at the Garage, where you can pick apart and put together a custom, rideable war toy that’ll wreak havoc on your foes.
You can also craft more powerful pieces because, well, crafting is a big part of the game! You get parts by completing missions, salvaging destroyed enemy vehicles, or simply going through discarded junk around the map. You know what they say, one man’s trash can be another man’s treasure, HAHA!
Drive Custom Vehicles Into War
Your customized truck or buggy doesn’t have to be left in the Garage, sitting pretty. Drive it out into the battlefield and test your mettle against other players’ customized cars! There are a lot of technicalities you need to consider before driving out so make sure you pay attention to your vehicle’s Durability, Energy, and Tonnage.
Each of these factors determine how strong your vehicle will be, how much action it can dish out, and how fast or slow it can move around the map.
Keep Gameplay Fresh With Different Game Modes
You’d think that Crossout would only be a battle royale game but that’s actually just one game mode. Most of your gameplay is done via missions, which you can go through with up to 8 friends!
There’s a PvE raid system, PvP brawls, Races, Free-for-Alls, and others! This makes it easy to keep playing that game, whether you just want to craft some chunggus-looking machine or blow up other people’s abominable creations, LOL.
Crossout PH Required Specs
The game isn’t that heavy, which is surprising, given the amount of customizability and map range. It only requires 6GB of space, too, so you don’t have to worry about your PC or laptop losing too much disk space!

Crossout PH Gameplay First Impressions
I did get to test the game out a bit and was fiddling around a lot with the customization. To be honest, there’s a lot of INFORMATION OVERLOAD, lol! There’s too many things going on and I didn’t know what to do at the start. However, I found out later on that the game offers blueprints, so you can easily craft powerful vehicles without having to make up a design by yourself, HAHAHA.
I like that most of the gameplay is done through missions, so you don’t have to worry about having friends to play with. You can go through the missions by yourself, but I think it’d be fun with more people around, blasting your way through enemies.
To be honest, I’m not much of a fan of any battle royale games but it’s different when you’re using a car to decimate your opponents. It’s like Twisted Metal all over again, except this time you can make a more badass truck than Sweet Tooth’s ever had! I might pick it up if I have friends to play with, HAHA!
