Guess who’s going back to Sanctuary soon???!! MEEEEEE!!! Diablo Immortal is hosting another Closed Beta for Android users, and I AM GOING TO BE A PART OF IT. I AM SHAKING, I’M SO EXCITED, I’M GONNA DIE!
Diablo Immortal Closed Beta – What’s New?
This is not the first time that Diablo Immortal slightly opened its doors for users to test the upcoming mobile game. They had a series of recently concluded Closed Alpha testing that heavily influenced the changes we’ll be seeing in the upcoming Closed Beta.
So, what are these changes? First of all, THEY.ARE.ADDING.A.NEW.PLAYABLE.CLASS. Yes, that’s right! We’re getting the flippin’ Necromancer in Diablo Immortal! LEGIT HYPE BECAUSE, uh, I had a Necromancer in D3 and I never got to level her up coz life. 🙁
Also, there will be PVP and PVE updates. This includes the addition of Challenge of the Immortal, which is a new PVP mode. They’re also including Battleground Ladders, which are sort of leaderboards for PVP.
For those already in the endgame, Set Items and Set Bonuses are finally being implemented! More powerful gear to fight against more powerful foes, YAS. And, specifically for PVE, The Helliquarry will be accessible for up to 8 players to fight against scary raid bosses.
There are also some additions such as previewing controller support. And for those with the ka-ching, in-game purchases will be made accessible in the upcoming Closed Beta for Android. Once the testing closes, these purchases will be reverted to in-game credits. 🙂
How To Play Closed Beta
Unfortunately, the Closed Beta will only be available for Android users, in select regions, and for a limited number of players this Friday, October 29, 5:30am IST / 7am GMT+7 / 8am GMT+8. Lucky Nephalem will get a notification from Google Play as soon as they can join the Beta. From there on, they just need to download the APK and log in, I think. HAHA.
From October 28, 2021, 5PM Pacific Time, the Closed Beta will open for Canada, and in Australia. In the next few weeks, servers will open in Korea, Japan, and China.
So, you know, I am very, very, very, very lucky that my friends from One More Game were so generous to endorse me to Blizzard to get to test the Closed Beta out. I’ve never done this before, and I am sure as hella excited to get back to grinding in Sanctuary!
