We’ve got a new game to look forward to on our mobile devices! Square Enix recently announced that Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is coming to North America on Android and iOS!
According to the Square Enix NA Blog, Director Tetsuya Nomura has some interesting ideas for this game. This time, players can create their own keyblade wielders in order to fight various Heartless and bosses.
Nomura also answered some questions with regards to the plot/premise/setting of the game. Apparently it will be set in the “beginning” of the Kingdom Hearts series and has some connection to the story of Kingdom Heart II.8.
Agh, in all reality, I love Kingdom Hearts and everything, but the story and the connections between games has become a little convoluted and hard to follow. Even though I sort of religiously followed the series and played a lot more of the franchise than I can swallow (Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance), it’s starting to become a little too much.
I WILL, however, try this new one. I need a new mobile game to play besides Clash Royale, LOL! The game is free-to-play and will be released on April 7. Watch out! 🙂
