What is 2XKO™?

2XKO is Riot Games’ upcoming free-to-play 2v2 team-based fighting game, set in a uniquely modern expression of League of Legends’ Runeterra.
The title will be playable on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. According to the website, eight champions have already been revealed – Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illao, Jinx, Vi, and Yasuo. During the recently concluded EVO 2025, fans were able to take the champion Vi out for a spin.
Global Closed Beta Date & Details

The 2XKO Closed Beta will start September 9, 2025. It will first be available on Windows PC, then to other platforms later on. It will support cross-platform progression, as well as cross-platform inventory, allowing players to start on PC and then switch over to a preferred console platform once available with no lapse in progress or inventory.
Once the beta starts, Riot Games plans to keep the game online and servers running through launch, though no news about the official launch date has been shared yet. If you’re interested, you can register for the beta via the official site!
