The new ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme keyboard has been announced, and the peripheral will make its way to the Philippines this September 2024!
Here’s most of what you need to know about the new keyboard!
ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme – Features & Price
To break it down, the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme has the following basic features:
- Aluminum-alloy chassis with a metal frame
- Custom 75% layout
- 1.47-inch full-color OLED touchscreen
- ROG NX Snow / ROG NX Storm switches (hot-swappabled, lubed)
- Connect via Bluetooth, wireless, or wired USB
According to the brand, the ROG Azoth Extreme uses a carbon-fiber positioning plate with metal-like rigidity for crisp typing sensations. The plate also aims to effectively minimize vibrations when typing. The keeb also has three dampening layers, two PORON® layers and a silicone pad, likely to dampen noise and absorb vibrations further.
The keyboard also has a unique gasket-mount design that allows users to adjust the typing feel through a quick-flip switch at the bottom of the keyboard. There are different typing modes, Hard and Soft, which users can activate depending on their preference.
The 1.47-inch full-color OLED display, found on the upper right of the keyboard, shows various information, including keyboard connection status, Caps Lock, and PC/Mac mode indicators. You can tap or swipe the display to see other functions as well.
The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme mechanical keyboard is priced at Php 28,880.
Availability in the Philippines
The mechanical keyboard is due to make its debut in the Philippines this September 2024, though no actual date has been shared yet.
The price is a little steep for my liking, so I hope that the OLED display, the aluminum chassis, and the hot-swappable switches, among other features, will make up for how much it costs. HAHA.
Also, will it come in white? IDK! What do you think of the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme? XD
