It seems the world is going back to normal because gaming and geek conventions are returning to physical spaces! I’m sure you’ve heard that CONQuest 2022 is happening in Manila this time around, so here’s a short primer on what to expect during the event!
CONQuest 2022 has a lot of activities that feature gaming, pop culture, and Web3 content, so I’m sure there is everything for every kind of geek out there! 🙂
What Is CONQuest 2022?
According to CONQuest, the event is the “dopest Gaming x Pop Culture x Web3 expo in the Philippines. It’s been around since 2017, but I recall the first two events being held in Iloilo instead of the metro. 🙂 It is a weekend-long expo that focuses on gaming, technology, anime, and pop culture.
Interestingly, the team behind CONQuest banded together with student leaders in the Philippines to create AcadArena, which is the Philippines’ first-ever collegiate gaming and esports network. So you’re sure that the people working behind the scenes are gamers and geeks who have a heavy passion for the industry.
CONQuest 2022 Ticket Prices & Details
This year, CONQuest 2022 will be happening in the SMX Convention Center in Pasay from July 23-24, 2022.
There are four ticket tiers ranging from Php 450 to Php 15,000. You can check out the details of each ticket tier from the image above, or book your tickets on the official site.
Event Program & Activities
As with every gaming and geek convention, CONQuest promises a whole range of activities so there is definitely a lot to do if you decide to go. 🙂
There’s going to be a Retro & Freeplay Arcade area where gamers can hangout with friends, a Tech & Game Dev Expo, for those more interested in these industries. For those looking to take some merch home, the Crafter’s Quarters is where you wanna go!
Community Panels and Celebrity Meet & Greets are part of CONQuest 2022 as well, so be sure to check out the whole list of celebrity & influencer guests below! And finally, the Philippines’ biggest campus gaming league, the Alliance Games Finals, will also be happening during the event. 🙂 You can learn more about all of these activities on the official site as well. 🙂

It’s a HUGE roster, in my opinion, and bringing in relevant personalities like Kyedae, Lilypichu & Michael Reeves, and even voice actors like Anne Yatco, Christian Banas, and Ratana, is really quite a feat. 🙂
To be honest, I’m more a fan of comic creators like Little Things PH and HungHang so I’m really excited to see what activities they have that’s related to them.
