Check Out the First Philippine GameDev Expo Happening this August!

For all you game development enthusiasts out there, the first Philippine GameDev Expo is happening this month! I’ll be there, and I can’t wait to see what the organizers have in store for gamers like me! 🙂

What is the Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX)?

PGDX Announcement

The Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) is the Philippines’ first Game and Development exhibit that is presented by Full Stacks Solutions CBZN Perspective, in cooperation with the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP). It is happening from August 18 to August 20, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The event will bring together the talents of both Filipino and global developers in the “biggest gathering of games” of 2023. There is a lot in store for us in the event, both for game-centered businesses and the gaming community, so I’m pretty excited to see what’s going on.

Demos, Hardware Showcases, B2B Opportunities, and More

The gaming community will have a lot of activities to check out, including game demos, hardware showcases, cosplay competitions, and gatherings between community members.

For those in the business-side of things, gaming and tech industry professionals will host workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses that hope to enrich the experience of everybody who is able to attend them.

What’s more, the main stage will have inspirational guest speakers like Michael Albert “Mooch” Mucci, Razer Gold’s Associate Director and Head of Account Management, Chris Murphy, the Chief Evangelist of Unreal Engine, and Christopher Natsume, the creative director & co-founder of Boomzap Entertainment, who will talk about the ins-and-outs of what it is like to be part of the gaming industry.

I’ll share more information about the Philippine GameDev Expo when the date draws nearer, but be sure to buy your tickets and check out their official website for more information!
