PUBG Mobile Collab In-Game and in Esports
This year, PUBG MOBILE Philippines has actively engaged the local community through notable collaborations in-game and through esports. SB19 Ken, also known as the soloist FELIP, unveiled a personally designed Avatar, Avatar Frame, Voice Pack, and Graffiti for fans to unlock. All were made available within the SUPERIOR PASS.
Due to this successful collaboration, PUBG MOBILE will continue to initiate Phase 2 of the partnership with local hip-hop talent. Fans will hear more from FELIP as his song ‘Wrath’ from his newest album ‘7sins’ becomes available for lobby and vehicle music in-game.
The game also made waves in the media on the esports front. PUBG MOBILE Team Harame Bro paved the way for Filipino esports teams, securing the lone slot in the 2024 PUBG Mobile World Cup after winning the PUBG Mobile Challengers League-Southeast Asia (PMCL SEA) Summer Split. It will be the furthest any Filipino esports team would have conquered to date, proving they are the best from over 200 teams nationwide, showcasing their skills in playing the popular battle royale game.
Ocean Odyssey 3.3 Update
Available until September 9th, PUBG Mobile introduces Ocean Odyssey, a new, immersive themed mode where players can explore the submerged remains of the Ocean Palace, an ancient ocean kingdom and search for lost treasures. In the Forsaken Ruins, players will also encounter majestic Ocean Temples, with their entrances hidden behind cascading water.
The Version 3.3 Update also introduces Cycle 7 Season 19, featuring a variety of new legendary items such as C7S19 Glasses, C7S19 Set, C7S19 Mask, C7S19 Cover, and C7S19 – QBU. Additionally, the Season Token Event Shop has been updated to include the C7S19 Parachute. Players can now access updated Cycle rewards, including Cycle 7 Cover, Cycle 7 Set and Cycle 7 Hoverboard by collecting Diamond/Crown/Ace Badges within the same Cycle.
