Though I’m not a fighting game community gal, I have always admired the effort and intense dedication of the player base! So I am very excited to share news that one of the biggest fighting game tournaments in the country, Rev Major, is coming back this 2021, and going fully digital! 🙂
Rev Major Goes Digital This Nov. 5-7, 2021
Everyone knows that the COVID-19 pandemic pretty much put all our lives to a halt for the past two years. This means no physical events or conventions, leaving us already introverted gamers more isolated than before. But now, the doors are opening once again for events, albeit everyone only gets to meet virtually through the internet.
This November 5-7, 2021, Rev Major is coming back, and going online, bringing in a lot of fighting game tournaments, showcases, giveaways and prizes, and more!
What To Expect?
Fighting game tournaments are making a comeback! If you’re a fan of Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Strive, Street Fighter V, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, expect exciting fights between the best of the best in the country. Actually, if you go to Rev Major’s site, you’ll already see the finalists being chosen through preliminary battles! XD
What’s more, I’m sure fans will be interested in seeing their favorite international fighting game pros showing off their skills, and Rev Major will have just that! Some of the well-known names gracing the event include Daru, the Korean Guilty Gear superstar, and KizzieKay and FluxedOver, who will duke it out in Melty Blood: Type Luna. Mind you, KizzieKay and FluxedOver area apparently new to Melty Blood, so I’m sure that’s something to see! XD
New to the event is also The REView, where industry giants will share their insights on the FGC, especially during the pandemic! And of course, we can’t forget that Rev Major 2021 will also be giving away a lot of exciting prizes!
