ROG Unveils Specs Of 2022 AMD RYZEN 6000™ Powered Gaming Laptops

ASUS Republic of Gamers finally unveiled the specs and details of the upgraded 2022 ROG gaming laptops that they announced last CES 2022.

There is a whole bunch of products and ranges that have now been powered by AMD Ryzen 6000™ GPUs, so let’s get right down to it!

ROG Zephyrus G14 – Specs & Price

We all know that I’m a sucker for anything ROG Zephyrus G14, it is my daily driver after all, HAHA. So you must imagine my anger and tears when I saw the 2022 version and its specs below:

CPU: Ryzen 9 6900HS / Ryzen 7 6800HS
GPU: AMD RX 6800S 8GB GDDR6 / AMD RX 6700S 8GB GDDR6
Memory: 16GB x 2 DDR5 / 8GB X 2 DDR5
Storage: 1TB PCIE4 SSD / 1TB PCIE4 SSD
Display: 14″ WQXGA 120Hz
Colors: Moonlight White w/ AniMe Matrix / Eclipse Gray w/ AniMe Matrix

The price range for the 2022 version of the ROG Zephyrus G14 is from Php 119,995 to Php 134,995.

There are several notable upgrades for the 2022 version including the new Nebula Display™, an expansion of 16:10 aspect ratio for the screen, Thermal Grizzly liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU, an built-in web camera, and, probably my favorite, 180-degree Ergolift hinge.

2022 Zephyrus G15 – Specs & Price

The ROG Zephyrus G15 is also getting upgrades this 2022. You can check the laptop’s specs here:

For the 2022 version of the ROG Zephyrus G15, prices start at Php 129,995 and can go up all the way to Php 149,995.

The same with the Zephyrus G14, the G15 will be getting the 180-degree Ergolift hinge as well as a new built-in web camera, among other features.

ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 – Specs & Price

Having two screens in its chassis, the 2022 ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is getting quite the hardware upgrades! Check out its specs below:

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GDDR6
Memory: 32GB x 2 DDR5
Storage: 2TB PCIE4 SSD x 2 (PERFORMANCE)
Display: 16″ WQXGA 165Hz

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 will set you back around Php 254,995 to Php 319,995. That is quite a hefty price tag, IMHO!

But since you do get a 14.1-inch secondary screen, the same Nebula HDR panel, and more, some may find the high price range to be justifiable, haha! XD

ROG Strix G15 And G17 – Specs & Price

Heading a bit more into the mid-ranged side of ROG, the Strix G15 and G17 have also been revamped for 2022. The specs are as follows:

If you want to get the 2022 version of the ROG Strix G15, it will cost you Php 69,996 to Php 164,995.

I’m pretty happy that they’ve actually upgraded the G15 Electro Punk version because I really enjoyed playing on it when I reviewed it a few years ago. 🙂

TUF Gaming A15 & A17 – Specs & Price

Last but not least, the TUF Gaming A17 and A15 models also get 2022 upgrades in specifications! Check them out below:

To be honest the TUF Gaming prices are a bit more affordable than the Zephyrus or the Strix lines. The 2022 version of TUF Gaming A17 starts at Php 74,995 and goes up to Php 114,995.
