It’s that time of the year when ASUS Republic of Gamers reveals the latest in its ROG Phone series. In a recent For Those Who Dare virtual event, the brand unveiled information about its upcoming ROG Phone 6 series.
The new gaming phone will come with top-notch hardware, a sleek design, and can be bundled with a bunch of amazing accessories!
ASUS ROG Phone 6 Series – Specs & Features
The ROG Phone 6 Series will come with two different models – the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. Here are the specs and details that we are privy to:
- CPU: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform
- GPU: Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU
- Memory: Up to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM
- Storage: Up to 512 GB
- Display: 6.78-inch 165 Hz AMOLED HDR10+ display
- Battery: 6000 mAh battery
- Color: Phantom Black / Storm White
The ROG Phone 6 series will come equipped with the upgraded GameCool 6 cooling system which includes 360° CPU cooling technology, a 30% larger vapor chamber and 85% larger graphite sheets. This helps to ensure that the gaming experience is smooth and will keep the heat at bay.
For those who love the previous ROG Phones’ AirTrigger 6 has been upgraded to support various gestures, and will have new features such as Dual Action, Press and Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming.
The ROG Phone 6 series will also come with a host of modular accessories for that optimize gaming experience. These accessories are the AeroActive Cooler 6, ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad for ROG Phone 6, ROG Phone 6 Glass Screen Protector, cases and more.
