It’s been a few weeks since the global Street Fighter 6, and the local Filipino SF6 community, celebrated the official release of Yasmine into the fighting game! Now, Capcom just unveiled the Filipina’s full name, how exciting~
Street Fighter 6 Yasmine’s Full Filipina Name
For a while, everyone thought that Yasmine was named after two of the Philippines’ main island groups – Visayas and Mindanao. Yas-Min, right? LOL.
Well, apparently we’re wrong, and Capcom revealed via the official Street Fighter 6 account that our girl’s full name is Yasmine Delos Santos Bautista.

As someone who also has a “De XX” as her middle name, I can totally relate to the mouthful of words. HAHA!
Filipino Street Fighter 6 Community Celebrates Yasmine Release
And if you guys haven’t heard yet, the local Pinoy SF6 FGC celebrated Yasmine’s launch with a competitive showdown. Player ‘H1ghscor3’ won the tournament with Yasmine while facing off against ‘Manza’ who was on A.K.I.

Overall, I’m sure everyone is just as happy that the Philippines got represented in one of the biggest fighting games globally. Hopefully we see more of her in the future! 🙂
