Preorders have just opened for The Blood of the Dawnwalker, with its release date hitting September 2026. Details about both digital and physical editions have also been shared, so let’s see what they have to offer.
The Blood of the Dawnwalker Launches September 3
Revealed during its Road to Launch event, Rebel Wolves’ The Blood of the Dawnwalker has confirmed its official release date of September 3, 2026. The game is already available for preorder on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Steam.
New story details and gameplay footage were also shared during the event. Players were introduced to characters Coen will meet throughout his journey, as well as poignant landscapes and settings they’ll travel through in the game.
In terms of gameplay, footage showcased the how player actions influence the balance of power within the alley, reinforcing the game’s core principle: in The Blood of Dawnwalker, every action carries consequences.
Digital and Physical Editions with Bonuses
Beyond the new story trailer and gameplay footage, Rebel Wolves also revealed digital and physical editions of The Blood of the Dawnwalker. As you can see from the image above, each of the game’s editions will come with different inclusions.
- Standard (Digital) – Only includes the base game
- Eclipse Edition (Digital) – Includes the base game and digital versions of the World Compendium, comic book, and official game OST.
- Day 1 Edition (Physical) – Includes the base game, a steelbook case, and a physical world map.
- Collector’s Edition (Physical) – Includes all of the above, plus a physical version of the World Compendium, and a 23cm / 9″ figurine of Coen.
