Best Booths We Saw at Tokyo Game Show 2024

It’s been a week since the end of Tokyo Game Show 2024 , and I’m still at an all-time high.

Going around Makuhari Messe in two (maybe three?) days is not easy. So, I’m sharing this diary of all the fun and amazing booths we saw at the event! 🙂

Square Enix at Tokyo Game Show 2024

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Square Enix Booth

The Square Enix booth was flippin’ huge, guys. Aside from having a whole-ass stage area, it had little photo spots where you could take pictures, depending on your favorite game.

Highlighted during the event were Dragon Quest, the upcoming Romancing Saga and Fantasian: Neo Dimension, and, of course, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail.

We didn’t stick around that much because of the amount of people, but we did go back during the public day to try out the other activities. Overall, a nice experience if you’re a Square Enix fan with upcoming games you’re looking forward to.

Capcom

The Capcom booth was also pretty impressive. There was also a small stage area but what really caught my eye was, of course, the Monster Hunter Wilds demo booth. They also had the life-sized Hunter and Seikret figures displayed, so that was pretty awesome.

Some other Capcom titles were positioned at the back area of the booth, but we didn’t really notice them since all eyes were on MH Wilds, haha! Although I do recall seeing people line up to take photos with an official Miles Edgeworth booth cosplayer! XD

SEGA Atlus at Tokyo Game Show 2024

Tokyo Game Show 2024 SEGA Atlus Booth

SEGA Atlus makes a spectacle every year. Last year, they focused on Persona 3 Reload and the Yakuza games, but this year there was a mix of different titles in the spotlight. Front and center were the upcoming Yakuza and Sonic games, the mobile Persona 5 title, and Metaphor ReFantazio.

Behind the massive booth there were smaller titles being exhibited, and I do remember seeing a Dragon Age: Veilguard demo area, which I did not get to try out! D: All of these areas had little activities that you could participate in which included demos and social media postings!

Level 5

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Level 5 Booth

I’m a little sad that Level 5 isn’t that widely known outside of Japan. They made games like Professor Layton, Fantasy Life, and Ni no Kuni, but I’m very happy to have seen the company exhibit their offerings at Tokyo Game Show 2024.

The booth was split into four parts – one for Professor Layton, one for Fantasy Life, another for Inazuma Eleven, and one for a widescreen area to showcase game trailers. You could instantly see it as soon as you enter the hall where it’s located, I loved it! XD

PlayStation at Tokyo Game Show 2024

You can’t really ignore the hype that Japan has for PlayStation and you can see it in the amount of people that was around the booth during the event. There were a lot of titles that could be demo-ed like Astro Bot and Metaphor ReFantazio, but Monster Hunter Wilds had a whole special section just for it there. It was pretty amazing. O.O

Honorable Mentions

Konami

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Konami Booth

The Konami booth was pretty hard to ignore. There were giant screens bombarding our eyes about Metal Gear and Silent Hill. Plus, they had really creepy booth nurses handing out flyers. XD

The First Berzerker: Khazan

Tokyo Game Show 2024 The First Berzerker Khazan Booth

The LED panels on this booth just stretched on and on and on! Super impressive! I don’t know much about The First Berserker: Khazan but from the looks of the visuals, it seems like a pretty interesting title!

Mecha BREAK

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Mecha Break Booth

Seeing the bust of a mecha inside a convention hall is kinda amazing. Kudos to Mecha BREAK for the fantastic setup!

Arknights Endfield

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Arknights Endfield Booth

My gacha bias is showing here, and I am totally regretting not checking out the demo of Arknights Endfield. The booth was a little too yellow for my taste, but seeing familiar visuals from the mobile title was a sight for sore eyes. HAHA.

Level Infinite

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Level Infinite Booth

Finally, Level Infinite had a gacha simulation for its section of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Jeebus. I wish I lined up to try it just for fun’s sake, HAHA. They also had demos for Exoborne and Path of Exile 2!

There were soooo many other booths at Tokyo Game Show 2024. It would take me a LONG time to get through all my photos and share them with you here. But for now, this “best booths” diary will make do.

And hopefully, we will have something to compare to when we go to Tokyo Game Show again next year! MANIFESTING! Whoo!
