Every year, gaming laptops get more and more powerful. It’s getting a bit crazy and hard to keep up but, it’s always nice to get updated on what the biggest global gaming brands have to offer! This 2022, ASUS ROG has revealed a new set of gaming laptops equipped with 12th Gen Intel Core processors!
The recently announced lineup consists of the ROG Flow Z13, ROG Strix SCAR series, ROG Zephyrus M16, TUF Gaming F15/F17, and TUF Dash F15. Let’s check out the specs and deets of these machines!
ASUS ROG Flow Z13 – Specs & Price
Probably the biggest news about this launch is the announcement of the specs and pricing of the new ROG Flow Z13. The premise of having a hardcore gaming tablet is quite interesting. And honestly, if I wasn’t in love with my G14, I would’ve considered this device! HAHA.
ANYWAY! XD Here are the specs:
- CPU: i7-12700H / i5-12500H
- GPU: RTX 3050 4GDDR6 / Intel® Iris Xᵉ Graphics
- Memory: 16GB LPDDR5
- Storage: 512GB PCIE4 SSD
- Display: 13″ WUXGA 120HZ
For the added oomph in power, the ROG Flow Z13 (and also the upgraded 2022 ROG Flow X13) will be compatible with XG Mobile family of external GPUs. In terms of pricing, the ROG Flow Z13 will cost you around Php 84,995 to Php 99,995. The prices ARE a bit steep, though I think it is pretty fair considering you’re getting an extremely jacked up tablet, HAHA!
The Intel i5 variant of the ROG Flow Z13 is already available in the Philippines now, but the Intel i7 version will arrive in April 2022.
ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 15/17 2022 – Specs & Price
The ROG Strix 15/17 series will be seeing upgrades this 2022 as well! The specs of each device varies a lot, depending if you’re going for the 15″ or 17″ screen, so check the details out below!
ROG Strix 15 2022 Specs:
- CPU: i9-12900H / i5-12500H
- GPU: RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GDDR6 / RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 / RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6
- Memory: 16GB x 2 DDR5 / 8GB x 2 DDR5
- Storage: 2TB PCIE4 SSD / 1TB PCIE4 SSD
- Display: 15″ WQHD 240Hz
The price of the ROG Strix 15 2022 version starts at Php 129,995 and can set you back up to Php 214,995. All three models of the laptop will be available in the Philippines starting early April 2022.
Uhm, honestly, the price range had me a little shookt. D: But I think if you’re the type of person who is looking for the kind of hardware stated above, it maaaay be worth looking at? I really don’t know, huhu!
ROG Strix 17 2022 Specs:

The ROG Strix 17 2022 prices start at Php 134,995 and can go all the way up to Php 219,995. I guess having the extra two inches of display real estate really jacks up the price, HAHA!
Anyway, these laptops will be available starting now until Q2 of 2022, so better check your local ROG retailers to see when the model you want is actually already here in the country. 🙂
ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 – Specs & Price
Another gaming laptop getting the 12th Gen Intel upgrade is the ROG Zephyrus M16. Known for being able to fit a 16″ display in a 15″ chassis, the M16 definitely made waves online! Here are the upgraded specs:
- CPU: i9-12900H / i7-12700H
- GPU: RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GDDR6 / RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 / RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6
- Memory: 16GB x 2 DDR5 / 8GB x 2 DDR5
- Storage: 2TB PCIE4 SSD / 1TB PCIE4 SSD
- Display: 16″ WQXGA 165Hz
The i9 variant of the ROG Zephyrus M16 is already available starting today, but the other models will arrive around early to mid-April 2022. As for pricing, you may want to hold onto your seats, hahaha! The ROG Zephyrus M16 prices start at Php 139,995 and can go up to Php 229,995.
TUF Gaming F15/F17 – Specs & Price
A bit more on the affordable… well, as affordable as a gaming laptop can get, HAHAHA, the TUF Gaming F15 and F17 2022 versions will also be upgraded with 12th Gen Intel CPUs! The specs are as follows:
- CPU: i7-12700H
- GPU: RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6 / RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 / RTX 3050 TI 4GB GDDR6
- Memory: 8GB x 2 DDR5 / 8GB DDR5
- Storage: 1TB PCIE3 SSD / 512GB PCIE3 SSD
- Display: 17″ FHD 144Hz / 15″ FHD 144Hz
The 2022 TUF Gaming F15/F17 units are priced at around Php 99,995, with the price lowering down to Php 73,995. Compared to the above models, this lineup is definitely easier on the wallet. HAHAHA. XD
Some TUF Gaming F15/F17 units are already available today in the country, but others will come in later this April 2022. Again, be sure to check your local authorized retailers to get more information. 🙂
TUF Dash F15 – Specs & Price
Whew, gosh, last but not least, we have the 2022 TUF Dash F15! Here are its updated specs for this year:

- Memory: 8GB x 2 / 8GB

- Color: Off Black / Moonlight White
The 2022 TUF Dash F15 models cost a bit less than its TUF Gaming F15/F17 counterparts, so that’s good news! 🙂 The lowest price you can get the laptop for is Php 64,995 while the most expensive model costs Php 92,995. These models will be available in the Philippines starting early April until Q2 of 2022!
