If you thought the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 was compact, it’s possible you haven’t seen the recently launched ROG Flow X13 Convertible Gaming Laptop yet. It comes paired with the ROG XG Mobile eGPU, so you can have both productivity and hardcore gaming inside and outside of your home.

ROG Flow X13 Convertible Gaming Laptop – Specs, Pricing, & Availability
The ROG Flow X13 Convertible Gaming Laptop comes with the following specifications:
- CPU: Ryzen™ 9 5900HS / Ryzen™ 7 5800HS
- GPU: GTX™ 1650 4GB GDDR6
- OS: Windows 10 Home
- Memory: 2x 8GB LPDDR4x RAM
- Storage: 1TB PCIE G3 SSD
- Display: 13″ 4K 60Hz
The price for the ROG Flow X13 is at Php 99,995 (Ryzen 9) or Php 89,995 (Ryzen 9). The laptops will be available this February 2021 and March 2021, respectively. The compact laptop will be bundled with an ROG Chakram Core Gaming Mouse, a 13″ sleeve, and an ASUS Active Pen.
For those who like to collect exclusive items, the ROG Flow X13 also has a Supernova Edition, which is priced at Php 189,995, and will be available starting March 2021.
The main difference is that the Supernova Edition is designed with a special ROG metal nameplate that has an ultraviolet iridescent shine. It will also house the ROG X13 exclusive Ryzen™ 9 5980HS and will come bundled with the ROG XG Mobile GC31S (RTX™ 3080) and the new Xbox Wireless Controller for its first owners.
ROG XG Mobile eGPU – Specs & Pricing
The ROG XG Mobile eGPU has the following specs:
- GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3080 16GB GDDR6 (150w) / NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 (140w)
If purchased individually, the mobile GPU will cost Php 89,995 (RTX 3080) or Php 69,005 (RTX 3070).
ROG Flow X13 Convertible Gaming Laptop And ROG XG Mobile eGPU – Features
I think the most interesting feature of the ROG Flow X13 and the ROG XG Mobile eGPU is how compact and lightweight both of the units are, with the laptop weight at 1.3kg and the eGPU at 1kg! That’s pretty amazing, considering the hardware that they both have inside, haha!
Given how slim the laptop and mobile GPU is, I think it can offer great mobility for those looking to switch up their daily routines. Though ROG has implemented liquid metal into the laptop’s cooling system, until I actually get my hands on a unit, I won’t be able to give an educated statement on how “cool” the laptop really will be. Especially when we get into the meat of heavy gaming, HAHA!
