ASUS Republic of Gamers is bringing back the king of gaming phones, and launching the ROG Phone 5 this April 10, 2021!
ASUS ROG Phone 5 – Specs & Features
Not much has been revealed about the ROG Phone 5, but the ASUS fam sent over some deets that you might be curious about. Here are some of the specs that we know:
- CPU / GPU: Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 888 5G Mobile Platform
- Display: Samsung-built 144 Hz / 1 ms AMOLED HDR10+ certified display
- Battery: 6000 mAh
For features, the ROG Phone 5 will have an updated GameCool 5 cooling system, matched with the iconic ASUS Armoury Crate program. The display will also have a 300 Hz touch sampling rate, easily trumping over the 270 Hz touch sampling rate of the ROG Phone 3. It will also have an ultra-low 24.3 ms touch latency.
The ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate will also have the brand new ROG Vision, a rear matrix display that has customizable animations. Because, of course, what is a gaming phone, or anything gaming, without RGB? HAHAHA. XD
