AAAAAAAAND, they’re finally here! ASUS Republic of Gamers has recently unveiled the prices, variants, and specs of the new ASUS ROG Phone 5s series!
For someone who has shifted to be a more mobile gamer (yes, I know, I’m a salty gacha queen, LOL), I AM REALLY INTERESTED IN THIS. UGH. I am desperately holding on to my wallet, right now, HAHAHA!
ASUS ROG Phone 5s Specs Price & Availability
The ROG Phone 5s will have two variants – a 12GB/256GB version and a 16GB/512GB version. But here are the technical specs:
- CPU: Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 888+ 5G Mobile Platform
- GPU: Qualcomm® Adreno™ 660
- Memory: LPDDR5 12GB / LPDDR5 16GB
- Storage: UFS3.1 256GB / UFS3.1 512GB
- Display: 6.78″ 20.4:9 (2448 x 1080) 144 Hz / 1 ms Samsung AMOLED with Corning® Gorilla® Glass
- Battery: 6000 mAh typical capacity
- Dimensions: 173.00 x 77.00 x 9.90 mm, 238g
- Variants: Phantom Black, Storm White
As you can see, the ROG Phone 5s doesn’t have that much of a difference from the ROG Phone 5 Classic that was launched earlier this year. Save for the upgraded Snapdragon 888+ processor. In terms of price, the ROG Phone 5s 12GB/256GB version will be available at Php 42,995, while the 16GB/512GB variant is priced at Php 49,995.
Both phones will be available in the Philippines by the end of December 2021.
Pro Version Specs Price & Availability
Now, the ROG Phone 5s series has a Pro version! And boy, does it look super nifty. It even has the exclusive ROG Vision, because what gamer doesn’t like the RGB? Haha!

The ROG Phone 5s Pro costs Php 59,995, the same price point as the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. The 5s Pro also has a whopping 18GB of RAM, which is INSANE! Like, how fast do you want to be switching through graphics-heavy games??!! HAHA!
The 5s Pro will be available in the PH mid-December 2021, earlier than the lower spec variants. I’m not sure why, maybe because they want people to spend more??!! Anyway! I am seriously considering getting a Storm White ROG Phone 5s. But, ugh. If they had a Storm White version of the 5s Pro, I might consider it, too. (At least it’s cheaper than the latest iPhone LOL).
