Converse Philippines once again held their Converse CONS Project recently and they decided to host it at the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City!
The reason that Converse Philippines decided to hold the CONS Project in Baguio is because the local government had turned over a skate area to the city’s skateboarders, making it a great venue and opportunity to celebrate the growing skate community in the area.
With over 120 skateboarders joining together with the Converse CONS Regional Skate Brand Ambassador Jeff Gonzales and Converse CONS PH skate influencers Iking Diaz, Jr., Kenneth Evangelista, Rasheed Al Rasheed, Jundin Santos and CL Paje, the event really was the perfect day for showing off intense skate boarding tricks!
To make things more interesting, Mr. Maui Hidalgo, the resident photographer of Blunt Magazine, shared some of his expertise and key insights on skate photography.
The event concluded with Converse Philippines announcing the turn over of the skate ramps to the Baguio skateboarding community.
They plan to hold more CONS Projects and the next stops for the event will be Cebu, Baler, and Metro Manila. To know more, visit their Facebook Page.
