Dune: Awakening can now be played start to finish on your own.
Funcom has added a full single-player mode that covers the entire game, all of its content and features, with no other players required.
Play Dune: Awakening Solo

Playing alone is not a trimmed-down version of Dune: Awakening. PvP is now completely optional, and the whole game stays open to solo players.
- Tune the run – Adjust harvesting rates, XP gain and death penalties however you like.
- Stay PvE – Every area and progression path can be played without fighting other players.
- Choose your Deep Desert – The endgame zone now runs separate PvE and PvP instances, with PvP carrying bigger risks and bigger rewards.
Fifteen Months of PC Updates, Now on Console

Dune: Awakening hit PS5 and Xbox on September 22, and console players are not just getting a PC port and build compatible with a controller. Funcom folded fifteen months of updates into it.
- More content – New maps, dungeons, weapons and dynamic encounters.
- Deeper builds – Augmentations and Specializations.
- Rebuilt endgame – Rise through the ranks of House Atreides or House Harkonnen.
- Better combat – Reworked melee and better performance.
- Friendlier rules – No base loss, recoverable vehicles, no taxes and a reduced death penalty.
Dune: Awakening Filmic Archive DLC and Where to Play

The Filmic Archive DLC ties the game to the films for $9.99. It adds the Caladan Stormcoat from Dune: Part One, the Aegis of an Unwalked Path armor from Paul’s visions in Dune: Part Two, plus 73 new Sardaukar building pieces and weapons.
On Xbox, Dune: Awakening is on Game Pass, with 20% on Deluxe and Ultimate upgrades. The PC version is half off on Steam until October 8, and Dune: Part Three opens in cinemas on December 18, 2026.
