Final Fantasy Resonance was revealed during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, and recently, Square Enix announced that preorders for the very first HD-2D FF game are now available across all platforms.
Preorders Available Across All Platforms
Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Resonance opens its preorders across multiple platforms. This includes the Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Steam, and Microsoft Store.
The game will release on October 22, 2026, for consoles such as the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows. The Steam version will launch the next day on October 23, 2026.
