Official sales of Tokyo Game Show 2026 tickets will open July 2026, and we’ve got information on the different types you can purchase and their prices.
Tokyo Game Show 2026: Ticket Prices and Pass Types

According to the organizers, Tokyo Game Show 2026 tickets will be available starting July 20, 2026. An earlier sale, last July 11, 2026, was held, but using the typical Japanese lottery system. So, that’s not really the best way for those who want to buy tickets from outside of Japan.
This year, there will be four (4) different ticket types – Special Discount Ticket, 1-Day Admission Ticket, Fast Ticket, and Premium Ticket. Prices and details are as follows:
- Premium Ticket – Priced at 30,000 JPY (around $185 USD). This is a new ticket type that will give users access to the three public days of Tokyo Game Show 2026. The Premium Ticket will include Fast Ticket for three days and exclusive “Energy Spot” lounge access. It also comes with priority access and exclusive merchandise.
- Fast Ticket – Priced at 6,000 JPY (around $37 USD) per day. This ticket comes with priority access and exclusive merchandise such as a tote bag and sticker.
- 1-Day Admission Ticket – Priced at 3,000 JPY (around $9 USD) per day. This is a typical entry ticket. It does not come with any priority access or merchandise.
- Special Discount Ticket – Priced at 1,500 JPY (around $9.50 USD) per day. This is a special rate for those who can provide the following: a physical disability certificate, a mental disability health and welfare certificate, an intellectual disability certificate, a specific medical expense recipient certificate, an atomic bomb survivor’s health certificate, or a war-wounded and sick person’s certificate. Or those who are registered with Mirairo ID.

Tokyo Game Show also revealed a limited-edition ticket with a gold medal collection. It’s priced at 3,300,000 JPY (around $20,308 USD) and can only be purchased through a lottery system. It also comes 1-Day Admission Tickets for the three public days.
Crazy, I know, but there’s only going to be one of these in the world. Still. That price is kinda crazy, LOL.
Gaming Exhibitors and Booths to Expect

The list of exhibitors at Tokyo Game Show 2026 have also been revealed, and you can check them out via the official website. Some of these names are big hitters like Capcom, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, Konami, Square Enix, and Sega Atlus.
On the list, I’ve seen other names like Shueisha Games, Level 5, and a couple of others. Hopefully we get news from other companies if they’ll participate in the event soon! Stay tuned. 🙂
