I’ve got a new batch of game recommendations for the month of February! We’ve got a random mix from cozy to gacha to survival horror, so let’s get to it, haha.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma on Console
Even though Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma was released last year, it wasn’t until February 13, 2026, that the game launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
I have this game on the Nintendo Switch, but I haven’t touched it because I prefer playing on Steam right now, so I’m waiting for a sale. HAHA.
I heard it’s pretty good, and reviews are pretty decent. So if you’re looking for a more modern farming and dungeon-crawling title from the Rune Factory series, Guardians of Azuma is already available on all platforms!
Resident Evil Requiem
We can’t ignore that Resident Evil Requiem is one of the most anticipated games this 2026, and it’s finally launching at the end of this month – February 27, 2026!
They recently revealed their latest trailer at the February 2026 PlayStation State of Play, where they showcased more gameplay.
Early Access for Starsand Island and Astrobotanica
If you’re looking to explore some new games this month, cozy games Starsand Island and Astrobotanica have been released on Steam’s Early Access.
Even though they’re both filed under the cozy game genre, they are both very different from each other.
Starsand Island has a more cutesy rural feel, while Astrobotanica gives off the sci-fi, space-y vibe.
I do actually own Starsand Island on Steam (but haven’t really found the time to play, boo), but I’m probably gonna save up for Astrobotanica because I really like the visuals and premise of the game.
Updates for Fields of Mistria, Honkai: Star Rail, and Monster Hunter Wilds
I don’t think this would even be an OMGluie post without mentioning a gacha game or Monster Hunter, haha!
The new 4.0 update for HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail was released on February 13, 2026 with new characters Yao Guang and Sparxie. In Monster Hunter Wilds, update 1.041 brought game optimization, new event quests, and more powerful monsters to fight. And finally, releasing this February 23, 2026, cozy game Fields of Mistria will introduce new content, QoL updates, and more!
Honestly, there’re so many games on my pipeline. I’m having a hard time catching up, huhu. Anyway, happy gaming to all of you!
