I’ve had the HONOR 600 5G for several weeks. I’ve taken it on an out-of-town trip, used it all day with mobile data on, and even made it my main device for taking photos and videos for this feature.
So, let me tell you about my hands-on experience, share with you the photos I took, and show you what it’s like to use it as a vlogging device!
Elegant, Refined Frame & Design

Right off the bat, the HONOR 600 5G has a solid frame and design. The matte metal frame has a refined finish. But even with its smoothness, it still feels sturdy and durable in my hands.
The Composite Fiber back panel has a nice sheen, particularly evident in the Golden White model. It often reflects stronger colors, making it look more dynamic under different lighting conditions.
Of course, for clumsy people like me, it’s a God-send to have a clear jelly case included. Putting it on the device not only protects it but also doesn’t detract from its overall look. XD
Incredibly Impressive Battery Life

One of the things about the HONOR 600 5G that impressed me the most is its battery capacity. The 7000 mAh battery is not a joke.
During our day out with the smartphone alongside Blip Media partners, I started at 99% at around 11:00 AM and ended the day with 46% by 7:00 PM.
I had mobile data on, was browsing through social media and replying to online messages throughout the day, while also taking both photos and videos.
I also spent time editing plus posting said photos and videos on social media and using the device’s AI Image to Video feature (which requires an internet connection), so having that much battery life at the end of the day was a good surprise.
HONOR 600 5G’s Unique AI Features

By now, you’ve probably seen a lot of buzz about the HONOR 600 series’ AI Image to Video features. But there’s a lot more it has to offer than that.
You have your standard AI Eraser, which lets you remove unwanted objects from your photos; AI Upscaling, which converts low-res photos into sharper, higher-resolution versions; and even AI Outpainting, which lets you expand current photos to specific sizes and more.

One of my favorites would be the AI Moving Photo Eraser, which still lets you erase unwanted objects but in your moving photos.
Another is the Magic Pose features, which scans the photo situation and gives pose suggestions to your subject. This is great if you’re feeling a little awkward in front of the camera. 🙂
HONOR 600 5G – Photo and Video Diary
Overall, I would say the HONOR 600 5G has a decent-enough camera. It performs well in daylight, offers AI enhancements for nighttime photography, and has decent zoom features.
You can check the above gallery to see the images we took during our day out with the smartphone. Most of them were taken in low-light conditions, but we also ventured outside to compare how it performs when there’s ample lighting. 🙂
For vlogging, I’ve created a short feature video you can watch below. Again, I would say it’s pretty decent in daylight, but it can struggle to record videos at night.
Experience and Final Thoughts on the HONOR 600 5G

Like I said in my unboxing and first impressions, the HONOR 600 5G is a good and decent smartphone. It may not have flagship-level features, but it still offers a lot.
Battery longevity is probably its strongest point, with its slew of AI features coming in second. You can expect good photos in daylight with its cameras, but struggle is still real during low-light situations, even with the 200MP Ultra-clear Night Camera lens.
