It’s been a while since I’ve featured a mobile device on the website, but I’m glad that I’m doing so again with the HONOR 600 5G. It just launched in the Philippines, so let’s take a look at the specs, features, and my first impressions of the device. 🙂

Packaging & Features

The HONOR 600 5G package is straightforward. You get your standard documentation, a SIM ejector tool, and a clear jelly case! The included charging cable is USB-A to USB-C, while you also get HONOR’s 80W SuperCharge adapter.
So, what you get here is standard and pretty much what you’d expect from any smartphone bundle.
HONOR 600 5G Solid and Elegant Design

At a glance, the HONOR 600 5G gives off a refined, elegant vibe. It has a matte metal frame, but the highlight of the phone’s design is its translucent Composite Fiber back panel, which houses the elevated dual rear camera module.
In my hands, the 190-gram weight gave it that “quality” heft. Plus, the IP68, IP69, and IP69K Water and Dust Resistance ratings give me the assurance that this phone is durable and will likely survive my daily clumsiness. LOL.
Sharp Display with Long-Lasting Battery

The HONOR 600 5G’s 6.75-inch AMOLED screen is quite bright, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 8000 nits of peak brightness. This is great for entertainment and gaming, so you still get a quality visual experience whether you’re indoors or outdoors.
In my experience with the phone, though I haven’t tried watching videos or playing games, the screen sharpness and brightness are incredibly helpful for taking photos and videos!

The 7000 mAh battery capacity surprised me the most about this smartphone. Since I received the review unit a week and a half ago, I’ve only charged it once to 100%.
I’ve taken it with me for events, meetings, and even a trip out of town over the weekend. And I still have around 20% battery left.
To be fair, I only use it to take photos or videos, and haven’t really fully explored its gaming capabilities, but I am still very impressed by the battery’s longevity.
Good Daily Camera, Takes Decent Night Photos

There’s a lot I haven’t explored about the HONOR 600 5G’s camera and AI features. And to be honest, though the ultra-wide lens sometimes felt lacking, the AI enhancements made up for it, thoroughly improving sharpness in some of my shots.
Portrait and close-up photos were crisp, and you can play around with different built-in filters, courtesy of HONOR’s camera partnership with Harcourt.
The selfie camera is also quite nice, with AI enhancements that blur out blemishes without your skin looking too fake.
Plus, the night camera feature is interesting to use, and photos don’t lose many details even in low lighting.
I’ll let the sample photos do the talking for the camera lens quality, so be sure to check each of them out! 🙂
HONOR 600 5G Suite of AI Features
The HONOR 600 5G has a slew of AI features that you can play around with. You have AI Erase, AI Super Zoom, and more. But the main highlight is the AI Image-to-Video feature, which lets you use a prompt to convert an image into a video.
I tried it out once for fun, just to see how easy it was to use. And it is! But I am a little hesitant to use AI for image and video generation, so I’m sticking to the smartphone’s more basic AI enhancement features while I’m using it. Hehe~
HONOR 600 5G Series – First Impressions & User Experience

My first impression of the HONOR 600 5G is that it’s a good and decent smartphone!
It has a premium look, feels like it’s made of high-quality materials, offers impressive battery life, and comes with a convenient suite of AI features for fun.

I don’t really have anything bad to say or features to critique, just because I’m not that exposed to the range of smartphones in the market today. I’ve been an iPhone user since God knows when. LOL.
I also think the price is reasonable given all that it offers. But of course, don’t expect flagship-level features at this price. And, that’s what I think! Hopefully, this helps if you’re considering purchasing the HONOR 600 5G in the future.
Preorders are up via Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Until next time~
