It’s my first time testing a headset from the gaming brand Logitech G. I’ve had a few weeks with the Logitech G Pro X 2 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset, and here’s what I think. 🙂

Packaging & Features
What comes with the Logitech G Pro X 2 is basically everything you would expect from a gaming headset purchase. You get a Bluetooth dongle, a USB-A-to-USB-C charging and connectivity cable, a detachable mic, and a 3.5mm auxiliary cable.
One of the nice extras in the package is a carrying pouch that lets you protect the headset when you carry it in your bag.
Premium Design and Feel
I think what sets the headset apart is how premium it looks and feels.
Most of the headset is made of durable, lightweight aluminum and steel, and you can choose between leatherette or velour earcups.
The coiled wires on the adjustable headband are a cool touch, and it’s a feature I haven’t seen in a headset before.
Sync with Other Logitech G Products
I mentioned that the headset comes with its own Bluetooth dongle. It can be plugged into a USB-A slot on your PC or device.
But the best part is that it can be paired with other Logitech G products that also have LIGHTSPEED technology. Once you successfully pair another device, whether a mouse or a keyboard, you only need to use that one dongle to connect all three to your PC.
Everything can be paired or adjusted using the brand’s Logitech G Hub, making it convenient to see battery levels, firmware updates, and more, in one glance.
Decent Enough Audio Quality and Experience
The Logitech G Pro X 2 wireless gaming headset features the brand’s 50mm PRO-G GRAPHENE audio drivers and X 2.0 Surround Sound technology.
This combination provides a decent enough audio experience and quality, whether you’re gaming, streaming videos, or listening to music in the background.
It’s also nice that the 6mm cardioid condenser mic is detachable, giving you options for communication. 🙂
Logitech G Pro X 2 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset – First Impressions & Gaming Experience
My time with the Logitech G Pro X 2 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset is a bit bittersweet.
I am fond of the premium design, the silver detailing, and the overall white colorway. The audio quality and experience is immersive enough that I mostly have no complaints about it.
I also like that you can swap out the leatherette ear cups with the included velour ones, and having a detachable mic is always a plus.
However, I am not fond of the lack of noise cancellation. The headband tension is high, and with the headset on the heavier side, I can’t wear it for long gaming sessions.
On the flip side, given that I couldn’t wear it for long hours, the headset’s battery life of up to 50 hours was never really maximized. LOL.
The price is just okay for the peripheral’s quality and design, but I would recommend waiting for a sale if you’ve got your eyes on the Logitech G Pro X 2 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset. 🙂
