After years of workarounds, the Philippines is getting an official Nintendo storefront. Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online both arrive this November, for the Switch 2 and the original Switch.
When to Expect the Nintendo eShop and Switch Online in the Philippines

The eShop is Nintendo‘s own digital store, and from November 10, it becomes the place where Filipinos can buy games without relying on a foreign account. Nintendo lists three jobs it will handle at launch:
- Full games – Buy and download titles directly, Switch 2 releases included.
- Downloadable content – Expansion passes and add-on packs, pulled down to the console.
- Switch Online memberships – The subscription itself is bought through the eShop.
The store will serve both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Nintendo Switch, so it doesn’t matter which one you have in your arsenal.
Nintendo has not announced local pricing for the eShop or for Switch Online, and it has not said whether the store will run in Philippine Peso. We also don’t have a day-one lineup either, but for now, Pinoy Nintendo fans have a reason to celebrate!
You can read the announcement on the official Nintendo website.
