Capcom has announced that its action game Onimusha: Way of the Sword is getting an earlier release date this year.
It’s still releasing in September 2026, but four weeks earlier than its original launch day.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword Launches September 4, 2026
The single-player action game will launch September 4, 2026, across all platforms such as PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
Preorders for Onimusha: Way of the Sword are also available now. Those who purchase before September 24, 2026, whether Standard, Deluxe, or Premium Deluxe editions, will get to receive Early Adopter Bonuses.
What’s more, a free demo is also available on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The demo offers an initial look
at the game’s thrilling combat and amazing gameplay, and players with demo saves will get an exclusive Kubi Akari Charm when the game fully launches on September 4.
