With Early Access for rhythm game RATATAN launching in a few days, the development team shared new content, the price of the game, and its roadmap in a recent livestream!
RATATAN Early Access Content
During the livestream, the devs showcased the entire lineup of RATATAN you’ll be able to control. There will be eight (initially, there were six in the Beta)! During the Beta, we got access to three worlds, so I’m not sure if these will already be available during Early Access. I hope so!
The livestream also showcased multiplayer mode – where you can have up to four (4) players. Improvements in the gameplay controls will also be applied during Early Access. The devs mentioned that crafting weapons from drops will also be easier, yay!
Game Price & Release Time
The rhythm game will set you back $24.99 / EUR 24.50 / JPY 2800. A bit pricey for Early Access, BUT, there will be a 10% discount until September 29, 2025. So, make sure to take advantage of this offer.
Early Access begins September 19, 2025, at 0:00 JST. The image below shows exactly when it begins, wherever you are in the world.

RATATAN Content Roadmap
If you think Early Access is the end of RATATAN’s development, you’ve got another think coming, haha!
The devs shared a content roadmap that showcases their plans with the rhythm game moving forward. They showed off Kobun headgear, Dark RATATAN images, and more during the livestream, so all of that is coming in future updates.
As a long time fan of the Patapon series, seeing this come to life just brings tears to my eyes. I can’t wait to play. 🙂
