Diablo Immortal’s next big collaboration is a match made in hell, literally.

The game’s latest dev update confirmed that Spawn, Todd McFarlane’s iconic anti-hero, is coming to the mobile ARPG this fall, with the first proper look teased for BlizzCon 2026.

During the recently uploaded Made to Suffer dev update, McFarlane showed up to make the announcement, promising to bring his hell together with Diablo’s.

“This is a perfect match made in hell,” he said, teasing the anti-heroes, demons, and dark fantasy that define both worlds. He also shared that he’s been working closely with the Blizzard team on concept art for months, keeping the spirit of 30 years of Spawn while staying true to Diablo fans.

The creator will be at BlizzCon on September 13 for a special panel and live drawing session, where he’ll create original artwork reimagining iconic Diablo characters through the lens of Spawn. The reveal will also be streamed online, so be sure to catch it!

The collab is part of patch 5.1, Made to Suffer, which arrives September 17, and continues the year-long celebration of Diablo’s 30th anniversary.

The patch also brings the next chapter of the Lut Gholein story, the new High Ward subzone, and fresh legendary items as Andariel and Duriel wage war over the city.
