The road to E3 is definitely wrought with exciting news and dangerous tidings for our wallets, haha! Atlus has just announced that they have a specific release date for the highly-anticipated Persona 5 for the Americas, plus news on special editions that are up for grabs!
According to the Playstation Blog, Persona 5 will be released in North America on February 14, 2017! Just in time for the day of hearts! And with this announcement comes the news of the special editions of the game from Atlus:
Persona 5 “Take Your Heart” Premium Edition:
This baby will contain a 64-page hardcover art book, a 4″ Morgana plushie, a Soundtrack CD, a SteelBook to house the game and covered in beautiful Persona 5 art, and a flippin’ awesome School Bag, reminiscent of Japanese high school bags and emblazoned with the Shujin Academy crest!
It will retail for around $89.99, will arrive in a massive, collectible (gorgeous!!!) box, and will be an exclusive for the Playstation 4. But for those eyeing just the Playstation 4 game, they are also releasing a SteelBook® Launch Edition which will be priced at $59.99.
Then, of course, there is also a Playstation 3 version with its price point at $49.99. There are no pre-order links up as of the moment, but man, I’m gonna buy the crap out of this one. I’m gonna buy that Premium Edition so HARD, it’s gonna make my wallet cry.
