Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version get a free update that improves performance and unlocks the same mouse controls, and they can transfer their save data to the new console, provided no save data already exists on it.

A limited-time discount campaign is also running on participating platforms, with promotional pricing for a limited period and full details on each platform’s storefront.

A Katamari Adventure Through Time

Once Upon a Katamari Switch 2 DLC

The story picks up after a castle clean-up goes wrong. The King of All Cosmos accidentally destroys the Earth, the Moon, and countless stars, and it falls to The Prince and his Cousins to roll their katamari across time and restore the night sky. The journey spans the Jurassic Period, the Ice Age, historic Japan, and more, with new stages, new music, and fresh items like the magnet along the way.

Players can roll as The Prince, any of the other 68 Cousins, or use the new customization system to build their own character for the online KatamariBall mode. The game supports one player offline and up to four players online.

The Rolling LIVE Highlights DLC is also available now on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It adds 10 new missions, 6 Cousins, 12 songs, and 18 accessories inspired by the world of live streaming.
