Seeing the Capcom booth during Tokyo Game Show is always a treat every year. This time, the company showcased a lot of their games, and we got to try a couple of them.
Here’s the demo roundup AND a booth tour! 🙂
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance Demo during TGS 2026

NGL, the highlight of the Capcom booth at TGS 2026 for me was the entire Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance set-up. There were a LOT of demo stations set up, but you’ll be surprised that slot tickets were GONE. JUST LIKE THAT!
We had this experience a few years back during TGS 2024, and it was crazy. But I’m glad I got to experience the demo because THEY BROUGHT TEOSTRA BACK OMG.

Anyway, I was able to try out different features like the Boosted Mode and, of course, fight against the fire-y Elder Dragon. It was not easy. But I’m not surprised. Demo gear is normally not the best for fighting raging Elder Dragons, LEL.
But, it was a really satisfying fight! Teostra had a LOT of different moves and seemed more aggressive. Boosted Mode on the Dual Blades also felt fast and significantly more powerful. I wish I had more time to really get to know it more! Anyway, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is releasing in 2027!
You can watch the whole experience in my short video below:
Mega Man: Dual Override Demo at the Capcom TGS 2026 Booth

I am definitely not a Metroidvania, platformer game girlie, and my experience with the Mega Man: Dual Override demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026 shows this.
I didn’t even make it to the boss. LOL. It’s okay, though, it’s just not my type of game. BUT. I have to say that I was impressed by the movement and fluidity, especially when you need to pivot quickly to avoid enemy attacks.
This game is definitely for those looking for a challenge, and who have better reflexes than me, haha! Mega Man: Dual Override is also releasing in 2027, btw. 🙂

Capcom Booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026
Capcom’s booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026 was almost as, if not more, massive than it was last year. The front part of the booth you see all the main games like Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Pragmata, Mega Man: Dual Override, and of course, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance.
But other games were also available to try out at the back of the booth like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter Outlanders, and Street Fighter. You can also check out cute photo spots (like the Resident Evil anniversary wall and Gun Shop Kendo) and the Capcom stage where livestream events were held.
Anyway, you can check the image slide show above to see what I’m talking about. Anyway, that’s all for now. I’m looking forward to seeing what Capcom has in store for us next year. 🙂
