Capcom’s newest IP took two of the biggest prizes of the night in Bangkok, where the Thailand Game Awards 2026 crowned the year’s standout action game.
Two Wins at the Thailand Game Awards 2026
PRAGMATA was named Game of the Year 2026 and Best Action Game under “The Best in the Gaming Industry” category at the Thailand Game Awards 2026. The ceremony ran on the Main Stage during gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok on November 1, 2026.
The awards are decided by votes from gamers across Thailand alongside a jury of the country’s leading gaming media. The programme spans two divisions, “Outstanding Products for Games” and “The Best in the Gaming Industry”, so the two wins cover both the player vote and the industry side of the show.
Capcom received both awards in front of a record-breaking crowd during the three-day event, which drew over 219,000 visitors.
What to Expect from PRAGMATA
PRAGMATA is Capcom’s newest IP, a sci-fi action-adventure game set on the moon in the near future. The story follows an unlikely duo on a mission to escape a lunar station overrun with hostile robots, with players controlling both spacefarer Hugh and the android Diana.
What the game puts in front of you:
- Two leads: Hugh and Diana each carry their own skills and abilities.
- Hacking and shooting: Both systems work together to clear obstacles and take down hostile robots.
- Lunar setting: A station on the moon in the near future, cut off from Earth.
- Single-player: Built around the pair’s partnership rather than squad play.
- Five platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
When the game first launched, our breakdown of the PRAGMATA physical edition bonuses covered the day one and early bird extras for the Southeast Asian release.
PRAGMATA is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. For more details, be sure to drop by the official Capcom website.
