Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Series Launched in the Philippines

We can finally say it out loud – the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 series has just revealed its lineup of new foldables. Let’s check out each of the devices, their features, specs, and prices. 🙂

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 – Specs & Price

Probably the most exciting news of this launch is the reveal of Samsung’s newest foldable – the Galaxy Z Fold8.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the smartphone totes a new pocketable size. It has a 5.5″ screen when folded, expanding to 7.6″, both Dynamic AMOLED 2x displays with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

It has a dual rear camera setup with wide-angle and ultra-wide lenses, both 50 megapixels. The front and main cameras are both 10 megapixels.

Battery capacity is 4,800 mAh and it has an IP48 rating for water resistance. It’s lightweight at only 201 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra – Specs & Price

Rebranded and now called the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the OG foldable gets some of its specs refreshed. It still has the same screen size, same triple rear camera set-up, and 215-gram weight.

It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, has a 5,000 mAh battery, and a water resistance rating of IP48.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 – Specs & Price

Last but not least, we have the Galaxy Z Flip8, which, again, retains most of its previous specs and hardware. Now powered by the Exynos 2600 CPU, it has a 4,300 mAh battery capacity, and also an IP48 rating for water resistance.

Both screen sizes stay the same, but it’s now lighter at 180 grams. The dual rear camera and front cameras have the same megapixels as the previous generation.
