UNBOXING: Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector's Edition

I’m not gonna lie, this is probably my favorite unboxing post ever! So, without any more delays, here’s our unboxing of the Final Fantasy XV: Ultimate Collector’s Edition box for the Playstation 4! Check out the post to see more cool photos (and an unboxing video, too!)

The first thing I gotta note about this box is how HUGE it is. It’s almost impossible to store, much less carry around, LOL.

It is also extremely gorgeous! It’s foiled over and very shiny, quite the eye-catcher, in a muted royal blue and black color palette.

When I finally got over the shiny, LOL, I took out the inner box which was a black cardboard box that featured the logo and emblem of FFXV. Hehe.

Of course inside it there are two more boxes, one that features the Noctis Play Arts Kai figure (with the limited edition weapons, which we’ll get to later) and another that is a beautiful piece of art that is embellished in Yoshitaka Amano’s original work specifically for Final Fantasy XV.

The very ornamental looking box houses the steelbook cases and “The Art of Final Fantasy XV” book, whee!

Mmm mmm mmm, yummy! Everything is pretty much eyecandy! But what really caught my eye was this seemingly innocent-looking piece of paper!

But guess what hides inside it? LOL!

UGH. Swear. I got shivers when I opened this little thing up. It really was a divine fangasmic moment, haha!

So after opening up the first box, the second box obviously housed the Play Arts Kai figure of Noctis!

I was a little disappointed that he didn’t come in a special box but ohwell! Maybe he’s meant to be displayed, after all. And I guess that’s true because just LOOK. AT. HIM.

At first I was a little scared about taking photos of this figure. There had been a lot of rumors and photos circulating the internet about botched makes so it was a little nerve-wracking for me. Thankfully, our Noctis is pretty rad! 🙂

Anyway, he comes with two weapons, a sword and a spear!
