I don’t think it’s a secret that I love online shopping! With so many eCommerce platforms out there, it’s hard not to spend money on anything that catches my eye, haha! But this goes to show how eCommerce really is the next-step for business owners, cause, you know, their customers are all online now! So I think it’s a great thing that Yondu is launching Vessell, an off-the-shelf eCommerce platform that is looking to help business owners shift their shops to the digital space!
What Is Yondu’s Vessell PH?
Vessell is an eCommerce platform that will be launched by top IT solutions company Yondu some time during the first quarter of 2022. The platform was designed with Filipino business owners in mind, as a way to help them thrive amidst the pandemic-ridden economy.
“We understand that not every business has e-commerce experience,” Alex Pelayo, the product manager spearheading Vessell said. “So that’s where we step in, ready to help in any way we can.”
The main goal of Vessell is to assist business owners as they transition into the world of eCommerce platforms, allowing them to continue and grow their businesses but now through the digital sphere.
How Will The Platform Work?
What’s great about Vessell is that it can be a one-stop shop for business owners who know NOTHING about eCommerce! Here are some of the key services and features that Vessell will offer:
- Well-designed sites and e-commerce tools to build their online shop
- Services such as validating payments, booking deliveries, and syncing inventories from system to system
- Already integrated with local e-wallets (so you don’t have to sign up on for all the ones available in the PH)
- Already partnered with local couriers (so your products can now be delivered nationwide!!!)
The Vessell team can also work closely with business owners who would like a more custom approach to their online shop, and even offer personalized solutions to those who are looking for something specific! 🙂
The platform is currently still in soft launch, and Vessell mentions that they are listening heavily to user feedback in order to improve the platform even further.
The idea is very interesting, honestly! It seems like it will be a great tool to have for business owners who are not as tech-savvy as the younger generation. Hopefully Vessell really pulls through, it would be great to see the platform thrive in the Philippines. 🙂
