Blizzard recently hosted a Diablo-focused showcase and dropped big news – the Warlock class is being released across all live Diablo games!
It’s live right now in Diablo 2 and will be available soon in Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal.
Play Warlock Now in Diablo 2: Resurrected

Titled Reign of the Warlock, the DLC highlights the Warlock class. The class’s power is forged in the fires of Hell. You can expect demon summoning, binding, and transformation as the class’s way to dominate the battlefield.
Other upcoming features in the Diablo II: Resurrected DLC focus on demon summoning, binding, and transformation to dominate the battlefield.
Coming Soon on Diablo Immortal and Diablo IV

In 2026, Diablo Immortal players will see the return of the Maiden of Anguish, Andariel. The Warlock class is also a main highlight, including the city of Lut Gholein from Diablo II, events, and collaborations.
The time frame for the Warlock launch in the mobile game is around April – June 2026. A full content roadmap has been laid out, so players know what to expect before and after the class’s release.

As for Diablo IV, the Warlock will be released alongside the Lord of Hatred expansion on April 26, 2026. If you’ve preordered the expansion, you actually already get access to the other new class, the Paladin.
More information will be revealed by March in a dedicated Diablo IV Live Developer update. I’m expecting to see more details about the updated systems and the endgame evolution. The feature called War Plans supposedly introduces customizable activity paths for a dynamic endgame experience, while Echoing Hatred encounters will challenge players through waves of enemies.
We’ve got a loooot to look forward to. I’m already Paragon 217 on my Paladin, HAHA. I’m excited to build a Warlock once the expansion comes out in April, whee! You can read the whole blog here, if you want! Until next time. 🙂
