Middle of the month already! I finally found the time to actually sit down and write my recos for games launching March 2026 (and updates that you might not want to miss!). Let’s get right down to it.
Pokopia

Yo, if you haven’t heard about Pokopia yet, what rock have you been living under? Seriously, this game has me considering getting a Switch 2.
In Pokopia, you play as a Ditto to build a new life with your Pokemon friends. “With help from your Pokémon friends, rebuild a desolate world into a charming utopia, one step at a time.” Sounds like my kind of game. I’ve heard that the gameplay mechanics are very deep and interesting.
BUT, I’m still on the fence. Maybe when the new Fire Emblem game comes out, that’s when I’ll consider getting a Switch 2. HAHAHA. Pokopia was launched March 5, 2026, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launched March 13, 2026 across all platforms. Of course, your MonHun girlie was hyped. I did get to play the demo during TGS 2025!
MH Stories 3 is “the next evolution of the turn-based, story-rich RPG series set in the world of Monster Hunter. Befriend, raise, and battle with iconic monsters in this vibrant, memorable, and expansive RPG adventure.”
I do want to get this game, I really do. Budget is tight right now, so I’ll have to hold off. But yes, definitely on my wishlist!
Crimson Desert

To be honest, I don’t know a lot about Crimson Desert, though they did have a massive booth at TGS 2025. But the game launches on March 19, 2026, across all platforms!
It’s a single-player, open-world, action-adventure game, so expect combat, exploration, and more. My reco is wait for reviews before deciding to get the game at launch. 🙂
Marathon

One of the most anticipated games this March 2026 is definitely Bungie’s Marathon. Though I’m not one for the first-person / extraction shooter genre, you can’t really ignore its presence.
Marathon was released on March 5, 2026, on PC and console. Just be sure you’ve got a strong stomach for the gameplay, because apparently it CAN get tough. 🙂
Updates and DLCs (March 2026)
WoW: Midnight & New Diablo IV Season

Blizzard has a couple of updates this March 2026. World of Warcraft: Midnight was released March 2, 2026, while Diablo IV saw Season 12 arrive on March 12, 2026.
I haven’t really caught up in WoW lore but I have been actively playing Diablo IV again. Season 12 is pretty much a filler season before the Lord of Hatred DLC launch in April. I’m excited to try the Warlock class, hehe.
HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero & Honkai: Star Rail Updates

HoYoverse has two big updates this month! Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7 launches on March 24, 2026, while Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 launches on March 25, 2026.
If you’re a gacha gamer and a HoYoverse fan, better hold on to your wallets. XD
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (For PC)

Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach became available on PC on March 19, 2026. If you’ve been dying to play the sequel on your desktop, this is your chance! 🙂 Different editions also get you different bonuses, so be sure to check the official website for more information.
Moonlighter 2 Early Access Update

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has an Early Access update called Greed and Glory. This was launched March 11, 2026.
They’ve expanded The Vault (it had a limited number of levels during Early Access launch), added features such as a new combat path called HEX, a challenge mode called The Greed Coliseum, and more.
I do have this game and I plan to dive into it once I get some free time, LAWL.
