Bethesda Announces Skyrim Remaster for PC, PS4, and XBox One

Dubbed the Special Edition, the Skyrim Remaster has just been announced by Bethesda this E3 2016 for the Playstation 4, XBox One, and YES, for the PC as well!

My fellow Dovahkiin, it’s time to raise our shouts together because we are getting an upgraded version of our favorite Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Coming this October 28, 2016, the Skyrim Special Edition will look better than ever with improved graphics and visual effects. So we’re in for a treat with new god rays, dynamic depth of field, reflections, and many more!

Here’s the E3 Skyrim Special Edition trailer:

The best part of this all is that the Special Edition will still allow for mods. Yes. Mods. You heard me. Mods. So, we still get the same Tamriel experience as we first did in 2011 but so much better. So much better!

Good news for those who have Skyrim on Steam, if you have all the add-ons or the Legendary Edition, you get a free upgrade to the Special Edition on launch day! Whee! It’s just the start and I’m already reeling with all the news. E3, I’m ready for you!
