Only a week left before Tokyo Game Show 2026, and we just got a reveal of the official floor map and merchandise lineup for the event. Let’s take a look!
What the Tokyo Game Show 2026 Floor Map Shows
The floor map is live, with an interactive 3D version that keeps section names readable when zoomed out.
Halls 1 to 8 hold the General Exhibition, where publishers run hands-on demos, world premieres, and in-booth stage events. Halls 9 to 11 group the Specialized Areas: smartphone games, gaming hardware, esports, gaming lifestyle, AR/VR, and accessibility.
Other points of interest in the map:
- Indie Game Area: Halls 9 to 10, with SELECTED INDIE 80 on the 2F Esplanade
- Creator Lounge presented by Twitch: new this year, Hall 1 behind the Event Stage, with an Energy Spot on Public Days
- Cosplay Area: Halls 9 to 11 outdoor areas, Public Days only, registration required
- Family Game Park and Food Court: TKP Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall and the outdoor areas
The 30th Anniversary Merchandise Lineup
One of our favorite features of the event is the special line-up of exclusive goods. The product range uses the main visual by illustrator Zashikiwarashi and artwork from the digital artist group ANIMAREAL, covering T-shirts, towels, keychains, acrylic stands, and mugs.
Anniversary collaborations with five titles add exclusive T-shirts and pouches: Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Thieves.
